Description | A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care is designed to prepare you for a career in childcare. The course covers topics such as child development, safety, nutrition, and behaviour management. You’ll learn how to create a safe and nurturing environment for children, plan and implement educational activities, and communicate effectively with parents and other caregivers. Additionally, you’ll be trained in first aid and CPR for children along with Safe Environments for Children and Young People.
This rewarding pathway offers security and long term employment prospects for those who have a genuine compassion to work with children. This program is also ideal as a lead in to further study including Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care, and Bachelor of Education.
For successful Early Childhood Education & Care applicants MADEC will provide:
